Sign Up For ClassEveryday we see hate, prejudice, despair, suffering, and injustice plague our city. Worse yet, these problems start in every one of our hearts. Our sin is the cause. So in our effort to solve these problems our sin makes more of a mess.
We need more than mere human effort to redeem what has been broken, and more than good intentions to redeem our city.
Jesus is a renewal expert. Jesus came to redeem, to make new what we broke. In the heart of the conflict, and despair, in nations and communities all around the world Jesus is building a kingdom of love, and equality and justice.
Person by person he is building something supernatural that is disrupting everything. It’s bigger than politics, bigger than governments, bigger than nations and religion and the gates of hell cannot stand against it.
Through his church God is building a New City.
And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
